We take had an absolutely terrible experience with Upper-case letter One Venture carte du jour services! We accept recently moved to Arab republic of egypt and earlier doing so contacted Capital One to notify them and order new cards. Eight days after arriving in the state, Capital 1 decided that our purchases (normal household purchases, along with the fact that we had ordered new cards) was 'suspicious' and froze non only our Venture cards, but also our personal Capital One account. This AFTER Nosotros HAD NOTIFIED THEM THAT We WERE MOVING TO Arab republic of egypt!

Ah yes, it gets ameliorate... We had to contact them on our own dime (MULTIPLE TIMES) from our new Egyptian phone numbers and they REFUSE to employ our international numbers. They will simply call U.S. numbers, so if you are abroad you lot are OUT OF LUCK! However, it gets even better... They make up one's mind they need more 'verification' of who were and that nosotros weren't fraudulently using our ain cards. You see what we had; our U.S. passports, our State of Wyoming Commuter'due south Licenses, messages from the IRS with our address and names, mail from our Insurance company with our names and U.S. address, along with other mail and such, and verbal verification of the purchases was not plenty.

They insisted that nosotros rail down our SSN cards also (which was unfortunately the one piece of paperwork nosotros didn't have). Then... after having family unit runway downwardly those cards and supplying all the higher up mentioned ID'southward and banks statements from Capital One (why tin can't they see this themselves??) They told us, "Okay we will become back to you in 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS." Two weeks later, multiple calls on our ain dime (remember, they volition non call an international number), emails, and later providing all the necessary documents... We even so have locked cards. To sum up my review, for a company that markets itself as a great "travel card" do not apply them if you actually travel!

Make certain to read the fine impress! I was pre-approved for the Venture I carte so I applied online because I was excited about the 20,000 mile promotional reward if yous spent $500 in the first 3 months. The rewards never came "Because of the style I applied for the card". Such a scam! I gauge you have to call in person or utilize a dissimilar fashion to get the promotional rewards. Of class they hibernate that fact pretty well on the application. It's ridiculous not to give the same rewards to every customer but because they applied for the card a dissimilar style. I have 3 dissimilar cards with Capital letter Ane. After this incident, I will be terminating all of them and going with Discover or Chase. Why would you lot want to screw over your customers similar this??

On 10/4/21, I booked a flight and on 10/5/21, I used my Visa Venture miles 48,460, to be exact, to be applied to my Visa flight. I NEVER RECEIVED THE CREDIT! I have a confirmation, from Visa, for the transfer, and I accept called Visa and spent hours on the telephone, They are doing an "escalation," simply will not credit my business relationship in the meantime. They have all the proof and the upshot is on their stop. Money/miles do not simply disappear. If I did not get credit for my miles, Who did? No one at Visa volition answer that question. I am sending a letter to their Corporate Offices. This activeness, on their role, is complete irresponsible. I would have used no stars, but that doesn't seem to be an option. BEWARE!

Spent over a 1000000 dollars on card in last twelvemonth and but recently had vii fraud charges totaling $1,200 and they turn down to help in any way. They stated they cannot even tell me exact location carte du jour was used. Never utilise Capital One.

We used our rewards to book a rental automobile through Capital One Travel. Our plans changed and we returned the automobile early. Nosotros have spent months and many hours on hold on the phone with Capital One Travel trying to get the refund cheque from our rental visitor sent to the appropriate address then that our rewards points can be credited dorsum to our account. The rental company has mailed a refund check FOR OVER $600 to them twice merely, it keeps getting returned undeliverable. Nosotros were on the phone for literally 4 hours today working on this again - I had Capital One Travel on my phone and my spouse had the rental auto company on the other phone.

While I was on concord with Capital One Travel while she was trying to verify that we were indeed due a refund and to locate an address for the states to provide to the rental company, my spouse was working with the rental company who was able to confirm all of the details about the refund and told us she had a refund cheque in hand set to mail but just wanted to confirm the address every bit it had been returned to them twice already - we did all the piece of work for the Capital Ane Travel amanuensis while she had u.s.a. on concur!!! Still not resolved afterwards four hours as she would non provide us with a mailing address considering SHE couldn't confirm herself that nosotros are due a refund! Nor could she provide me with her supervisor contact or even a procedure to file a complaint! I've never seen business organization conducted this mode in my life - and I piece of work in the field! WE Volition NEVER USE CAPITAL 1 TRAVEL Over again!

This is a follow up to my Ashley Furniture review. I ordered a product from Ashley and it arrived broken in half. Ashley bounced me back and forth between supplier and them with no help so I disputed. Capital letter One was very disappointing and very smart. They desire a letterhead from a different furniture company and how they would of handled it. Why would another furniture company give me a alphabetic character on how they would of handled it differently. What a stupid and smart request. I have 8 accounts with Capital One. I have been referring them for years. What bull.

I've had splendid credit for over 35 years. Switched to Upper-case letter I considering I heard their greenbacks dorsum rebates are one of the best with no annual fee. Used this card for over v years, no problems. All suddenly they freeze my menu, tell me I need to provide them with a physical address earlier they volition unlock the carte du jour. After existence on hold for over an hour, I give them my rural address. A calendar month later, aforementioned thing. Later on being on hold for over an hour, I give them the same rural address.

The 3rd time this happened, I cancelled the menu and asked for my refund on this card (stupid me over-paid the last bill). They told me they couldn't refund me until I updated my physical accost. I told them they don't demand my physical accost as they take my mailing address. Finally I conceded and have been waiting for my refund ever since. Outset time they said they have to "hold" my money for three months. After 3 months, they said my bank check got returned and they'll have to re-issue me a refund. It'due south been close to 6 months at present and I'm even so waiting.

I have enjoyed the Capital letter One Venture carte du jour however, the travel benefit is not worth it. I booked a trip for the start time and due to Covid had to cancel. I received an email from Air Canada that I could exist reimbursed for the trip. I spoke with a representative initially and was told they confirmed with Air Canada and it would accept two billing cycles and be credited to my account. After 2 billing cycles I was prepare to reach out to them when I received a telephone call that they had received a full refund from Air Canada and I would need to call and ostend my mailing address (which they have on FILE and used to confirm my identity).

I called and spent over 3 hours on concord before reaching someone. I confirmed my address and was told I needed to speak to someone else and was transferred. Later waiting an additional hour, I had to hang upward. I accept called an additional 2 times and have notwithstanding to resolve this and become my refund dorsum. Currently I am shut to 1 1/ii hours on concord. I hope they are enjoying my money! I have turned in my remaining miles for credit on my credit carte and volition most probable cancel my menu. I take other cards with better customer service.

I used my Majuscule One travel points to volume a flight. Upper-case letter Ane informed me of changes to My Itinerary. I had to call them to run across what the changes were and they don't respond the telephone. You lot sit on hold forever. The first time I waited on hold for over 5 hours. Hung up, called the side by side day and waited over iii hours and finally spoke to someone. A couple days ago I become a detect again to phone call them because My Itinerary changed, again. I've been on agree at present for almost 4 hours. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 60 years of life. They have ane phone number and NO email to send a message. No identify to exit a message and so THEY can phone call me when THEY have time. This is just terrible and not worth the trouble for airline flights.

I've used the Capital letter One Venture carte du jour for many years. Throughout that time I've used travel points to comprehend past purchases and book a handful of trips, all without major upshot. When COVID first hit their customer service was overwhelmed and unable to help. Because my trip was just a few days away, I spent xv hours on hold over 2 days trying to get my trip canceled. I ultimately did get it canceled (but received no email or confirmation to confirm) and chalked it up to the visitor doing its all-time in a bad situation. Fast frontwards to 2021 and their client service is nevertheless horrible. While trying to rebook using my credited points, I've been transferred to the wrong person multiple times and forced to sit on agree for over an 60 minutes each of these times. At this point I am convinced that Upper-case letter I does not intendance about their customers or their personal experiences.
